Theater Rental
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts plays host to over 200 theater rental events each year. Washington Performing Arts Society presents several world-renowned orchestras, critically-acclaimed soloists and chamber ensembles in the Concert Hall throughout the season; in addition, many smaller organizations, such as the Vocal Arts Society and Young Concert Artists, present soloists in the more intimate Terrace Theater.

If you are interested in renting one of our theaters for your event, please complete the Theater Request Application and include detailed information and supplements, as requested.
Please be aware that all proposed benefit performances must include the beneficiary’s contact and background information, and all such events must be approved by the Kennedy Center’s Board of Trustees.
